Please read thoroughly and initial each line to indicate that you understand and agree to all terms.
Vehicles must be picked up/returned during normal business hours. Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm. Saturday, 9am - 3pm (Sunday’s closed). Early/late pick-up/returns will be charged a convenience fee of $50.00.
Customers will be responsible if the key is lost and has to be replaced. Customers are also responsible for fees if the key has to be mailed overnight to them. Key replacement and reprogramming charge: $750.00.
DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING FROM THE VEHICLES (Insurance, Registration, Owner’s Manual, Jack, & Tire Iron). If you need seats removed, please let the staff know, and we will remove them for you. There is a $50.00 charge for removing seats & storing the seats.
When a customer returns our vehicle, customers MUST make sure to clean the vehicle completely. This includes checking under the seats, all other compartments, as well as the shelves above the windshield. If anything is left in the van (garbage of any kind), customers will be charged a $100.00 cleaning fee. If there are burns or stains on the seats, carpet, or walls of the interior, the customer will be charged a $300.00 detailing fee for Minivans and a $500.00 detailing fee for the Transit/Cargo Van.
Windshield & windows are not covered under RCP insurance. If the windshield or any other windows are broken, cracked, chipped, or damaged in any way during your rental, customers will be held responsible.
This applies to Transit/Cargo Vans. Customers CANNOT go through any drive-thrus or low clearances. The van is approximately 10 FEET HIGH. It WILL NOT FIT!!! Customers will be responsible for roof damage.
When parking vehicles, be aware of parking near trees and street signs. Tree branches hanging low and street signs can stick out far. Customers will be responsible for scratches that occur during their rental regardless of fault or not.
DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON THE ROOF. It is against the law to travel with anything on the roof and will cause damage to the roof of the van.
DO NOT TOW ANYTHING WITH THE VEHICLE. For vehicles that are equipped with a trailer hitch, this is only to be used for a storage rack supplied by A-1 Van & Truck Rental. Insurance will not cover any vehicles if damage is caused by towing or hauling anything.
Customers will be responsible for any tickets that occurred during the time of their rental period (speeding, red light cameras, parking, or toll violations). Please note, A-1 Van & Truck Rental will keep a copy of your credit card on file for such instances.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANYTHING (cigars, cigarettes, pipes, vapes & marijuana) in the vehicles. Customers will be charged a detailing fee of $500.00. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Customers are responsible for any damage caused to doors of the vehicle due to improper use. Insurance will not cover any damage caused by negligence.
Customers will be charged a $500.00 deposit to reserve a vehicle. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE if the reservation is canceled within one week prior to the rental date.
ABSOLUTELY NO RIDE SHARING!!! (No Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash). Insurance will not cover any vehicles or personal injuries in these situations.
Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as to how you received it. A picture will be taken of the dashboard showing the mileage and fuel gauge. If the van is returned with less fuel than how you received it, we will charge you $8.00 per gallon and a $50.00 administration fee.
Customers will be given an allotted amount of mileage during their rental. If the customer goes over the allotted mileage, there will be a $0.50 per mile charge.
A-1 Van & Truck Rental reserves the right to deny any rental at pick-up if we feel you may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We WILL NOT rent to you, and you will LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT.
A-1 Van & Truck Rental does not provide car seats for children. If you are traveling with children, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide car seats.
All administration fees are non-negotiable and will be applied to each individual instance that was violated.
Rentals canceled within one week prior to the reservation date will incur a $100 administrative fee. Rentals canceled within 48 hours of the reservation or on the day of the reservation will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
